The Nintendo Wii games console is a revolution in video gaming and has completely changed the way in which gamers can play their video games.

Gone are the days of the old, boring controllers with which you simply pressed buttons as now we have the wireless, motion sensitive controllers that use your every movement in the game. Instead of simply pressing a button to indicate how you wish to swing your golf club why not actually swing it with the Wii controller in the exact same way that you would a real golf club? Or when playing a boxing game is it not more fun to actually stand up and box and to just press buttons? The controllers of the Nintendo Wii console really are that amazing and have other cool features too such as force feedback and a speaker in the controller and yes they do have buttons for parts of the game that need them.

The nature of the games makes the Wii ideal for multi-player as it is so much fun having friends around and you all swinging controllers around the room but is also has full online play with a simple wi-fi connection and so with this you can easily play with people from all around the world.

The Nintendo Wii does have impressive graphics but they are not on the same level as the Xbox 360 or PS3 and so you have to make a choice there really: do you want the fun and originality of the Nintendo Wii or the raw power and graphics of the Xbox 360 or PS3? They all have their strong points and so it is just down to what you prefer at the end of the day.
