There are also other things to look for but it depends on what you need, if you play allot of games then a good video card will be needed or if you like to watch movies on it then a good quality screen is essential.

Many people like playing video games and so you can buy games for your computer of you could even buy a separate games console such as a Playstation 3, Xbox 360 or Wii. Some other software that is very important is anti virus and security software as this will protect your new computer, there are all kinds of risks online and computers can become full of all kinds of rubbish if you do not have the right security to protect you (a common sign of this is lots of pop-up adverts and a very sluggish computer).

You can also buy other products for your computer such as a new mouse or keyboard, a printer so that you can print documents, some better speakers so that you can better enjoy your MP3s or a new monitor so that whatever you are doing looks better. A webcam is also a great purchase if you go online allot as it allows you to be seen by the people that you are chatting with.
